How Corrective Chiropractic Care Improves
Walking, Balance and Posture

Chiropractic Scottsdale AZ Corrective Care

It is often said that posture is the window to the spine. Often times, that is the case and when Scottsdale Chiropractor sees a patient with poor posture their x-rays often reflect that and we see scoliosis, loss of normal curvature in the neck, hump-back or perhaps an exaggerated curve in the lower back.

Corrective Chiropractic Care in Scottsdale

Although these postural deficiencies are common, they are not normal. They may have been present for years and developed slowly, or they may have been the result of more recent injuries. In any case, what often ensues are changes in mobility, pain and even loss of function. We teach patients that correction of abnormal posture and spinal curves is essential to their health, not only to reduce symptoms, but to restore normal function to their bodies. Abnormal spinal curves cause damage to associated spinal joints, discs and nerves that accelerates aging and dis-ease in the body.

At Ally Spine Center we utilize state of the art techniques to reduce muscle tension and spasm as well as gently mobilize fixated spinal segments to reduce pain and improve range of motion. We also implement the use of the SpineMed decompression system to open up joint and disc spaces and decompress the spinal cord and exiting nerves. When patient experience the difference corrective care can make they not only feel their best, but they get back to doing the things they love whether that’s just taking a walk, playing with their children or grandchildren, golfing again or even hiking the most challenging trails!

Our approach is to carefully evaluate each person and to understand the challenges they face in order to appropriately provide corrective care plans that will help that person reach whatever goals they have. We emphasize that the body can heal itself and that our job is to simply assist by removing interference and help restore the body’s natural relationship between normal structure and normal function.
